Position:  Maintenance Foreman

Position Summary:

The Maintenance Foreman is an experienced professional directing the activities of the Maintenance Team Members in the Maintenance Division. He or she assures that team resources are used efficiently, personnel are adequately developed, and client needs are being met.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

  • Supervises crew activity and job quality on the job
  • Coordinate with supervisor daily schedules and routes
  • Input data for daily job worksheets
  • Takes the lead on the daily tasks at hand and assigns specific tasks to team members
  • Performs a walk around of all serviced areas prior to leaving
  • Ensures all equipment and tools are removed from the job sites and stored in the truck/trailer
  • Informs supervisor of any equipment/truck/trailer repairs needed
  • Assigns and oversees daily job duties of each crew member
  • Report any damages to turf, plant material, or property damage on a property to the supervisor
  • Report any damage or repairs needed for equipment and vehicles to supervisor
  • Recommend improvements regarding staff, equipment, repairs, scheduling and routing, job quality and efficiency to supervisor and/or owners
  • Report customer concerns addressed while on the job to supervisor
  • Manage staff, assigned vehicle, trailer and equipment
  • Conduct daily job procedures and daily maintenance checks
  • Conduct weekly equipment and vehicle cleaning and maintenance
  • Report staff insubordination regarding: conduct, work performance, dress code, tardiness, drugs, alcohol, theft and other insubordinate actions
  • Conform to all company directives, management directives, company policies and procedures at all times
  • Adhere to all company safety regulations and insist all crew members follow safety procedures
  • Supports the Company’s vision/mission/core values 20. Performs training with crew members
  • Safe and positive attitude
  • Deal with customers or homeowners in a professional manner
  • Needs to have leadership qualities
  • Performs all work orders given by Supervisor/Director


Education:  High School Diploma

Special Skills and Certifications:

  • Strong command of written and verbal English language required
  • Bi-lingual Spanish a plus

  • The employee is expected to work the assigned hours from Monday through Friday, Saturdays as needed
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, outside weather (heat or cold), and moving mechanical equipment.
  • Job sites are located on both residential and commercial property.
  • Required to lift more than 50 pounds
