Commercial Snow Management
Snow Plowing

Dear Jason and Levi:

So, we held off winter as long as we could, but Mother Nature walloped us with a blizzard back on January 23/24. We received quite a few owner compliments on what a great job your crew did in preparing, during the storm and the clean up after the storm. Please accept our thanks and gratitude from all of us at FirstService for your team’s handling of the first 2016 major snow. We appreciate your professionalism and efforts during this event and would like to thank you for partnering with our Community Manager, Paul Walmers, to set and deliver on, expectations and excellent results to our mutual clients at Brittany Chase.

We are proud of the relationships that we have built with our communities, and our vendors, and want you to know that due to your exemplary performance, before and during this event, we have recommended your service to our managers throughout the region. We value our relationship with you and hope that you will do the same. If you know of a community that lacks the level of management services that FirstService Residential provides, we would appreciate your recommendation and endorsement.

Thank you for a job well done and we look forward to expanding our professional relationship.

Commercial Green Roof Project in Manhattan

Mr. Mort Zuckerman
Boston Properties
599 Lexington Avenue
New York, NY 10021

Dear Mr. Zuckerman:

Daniel Sponzilli provided new green roofs for Plaza Construction on a project in midtown Manhattan. There were two green roofs on this particular site. One was on a setback roof and the other was on a higher roof. The installation of this roof helped in our efforts to achieve LEED Platinum status.

Danny and his crew were very professional, responsive and energetic. They made all scheduled milestone dates. They would work additional time to make up for weather related delays and never asked for additional compensation. They worked well with our subcontractors as well as their own. Danny is one of the few people in our industry that actually picks up his phone when you call him. Danny’s performance far exceeded our expectations. It was not unusual to even see Danny helping with the planting just to get the job done on time.

Danny is also very creative. He engineered a method of pumping the soil to a set back on the 11th floor level. All of the other large New York City landscapers told us that it would be impossible. Danny was so convinced that his method would work that he agreed upon award that if the pump method did not work he would pay for a crane to lift the soil to the roof. Danny took the risk, his method did work, all at a considerable savings in time and cost. The other landscapers wanted to use cranes that would need to be set up in different locations around the building and take place over several weekends. Danny pumped the soil over four nights between 10 PM and 6 AM from the parking lane on a side street. By 6 AM each morning when the equipment was moved off the street, there was no visible indication that work had been performed the night before.

We enjoyed working with Danny and will include him on any of our other landscaping projects.

Very truly yours
