Landscape Construction Project on Three Acres
Harding Township, NJ

Aaron Van Duyne IV and Michael Santana
Collaboration with our client’s architect and interior designer ensures this three-acre landscape construction project will enhance and complement this beautiful home that is also under construction.
When landscape designers have the opportunity to work with interior designers and architects, the opportunity is there to create a seamless design flow from the home to the outdoor living areas. The results will be stunning/
The jaw-dropping views of the backyard will be visible throughout the home’s interior. The custom gunite pool with infinity edge, hot tub, and sun ledge will be elevated so that it becomes the focal point of the landscaping. A pavilion was also incorporated into the design to cover an outdoor kitchen and dining space.
The same natural stone on the house will be incorporated in the firepit and in the wall around the pool for a seamless transition from the home and pavilion to the pool area. Concrete pavers in a linear pattern, edged with bluestone, will be used throughout the backyard.
Behind the pool area will be a set of steps to the upper lawn area. In this area will be a large landing for additional seating and another nice viewpoint.
In the front of the house is a large bluestone entry porch. A Belgium block driveway with a circular paver courtyard will be centered on the grand porch and front archway.
Cedar gates with stone pillars will mark the entrance of the long asphalt-lined driveway edged with Belgium block and lined with lovely trees and plantings. Between the street and the entrance gates will be a cobblestone inlay entry court. Inside the gates, a package drop-off area with shed will be built.
