Our client was looking for a large outdoor living space with a resort feel. Extensive hardscaping was done including 220’ LF of retaining walls, a custom gunite pool, covered veranda, outdoor kitchen with bar and dining space. An additional outdoor seating area with stone veneer firepit and surrounding seatwalls.
The landscaping project included a sod lawn with a custom irrigation system along with hundreds of plantings, hedging, and privacy plantings.
Drainage work included two concrete drywells connected to catch basins hidden under paving.
Masonry work includes bluestone borders and wall caps on retaining walls, Techo-Bloc pavers, and bluestone stepping stone pathways.
Custom gunite pool features multiple spills, bullnose bluestone coping, LED lighting, and a sun deck.
Sunken custom gas fire pit includes wraparound seat walls and natural stone veneer. A custom water feature was included to serve as a focal point for added ambience.
A covered veranda with bead board ceiling and cedar trim includes a wood burning fireplace, bathroom and changing room. spa, outdoor kitchen and bar, two outdoor televisions, and dining area.
Outdoor kitchen and bar features steel frame construction, stone veneer, granite countertops, and concrete footing and features fridge, storage, sunken ice chest, gas grill and a big green egg smoker.
A fiberglass pergola was installed poolside for some shade and lounging.

Formal plantings were added to provide a Hamptons look with boxwood hedging and Norway spruce privacy screening. Other plantings included hundreds of roses, hydrangeas, ornamental grasses, and flowering perennials.
