Project Description:
The construction of this home began in May 2014 with the implementation of its landscape design beginning in May of 2015. Our team started this project by creating the tar and chip driveway with Belgium block curbing which sets the tone for this grand estate’s entrance. Cedar wood gates and piers were laid in an overlapping grid pattern and painted white to complement the front of the home.
The construction of the homeowner’s elongated rectangular pool with a mirrored edge was started and evergreen screens and privet hedges were planted along the perimeter of the property for privacy and wind reduction.
In early spring of 2016 the pergola, outdoor kitchen and bar with cedar wood cabinets were constructed. The backsplash in the kitchen area is one, very large, piece of marble slab which brings many of the design elements together. A formal rose garden was planted on the side of the home and sculptures, imported from England, were put into place.
Thermal bluestone was set on concrete throughout the patio and walkways of the property. Cast Lighting products were use in the front, side and rear of the home to illuminate its beauty and create ambiance for entertaining.
In the kitchen and bar area a Lynx Grill and Side Burner was installed for easy outdoor cooking. A Summit fridge with glass doors gives a contrasting look to the cedar cabinets that were installed for storage. Mass planting of Hydrangeas and Pillowed Boxwood were completed to fill the property with color and depth.
