This landscape design-build project showcases the remarkable transformation of a previously outdated and deteriorating backyard into a stunning, functional outdoor living space. The goal was to address the poor flow and accessibility issues that plagued the original layout while elevating the space’s aesthetic and usability. We crafted an inviting environment that combines form and function, making the outdoor area an integral extension of the home.

The centerpiece of the renovation is a beautifully curved PVC deck, which gracefully redefines the space with its elegant lines and provides an expansive area for leisure and entertainment. Thoughtfully designed to include an above-ground swim spa, the deck offers the perfect balance of relaxation and recreation. A built-in grill station, featuring a sophisticated stone veneer and new state-of-the-art appliances, creates a chef’s paradise and anchors the outdoor kitchen area. A custom TV stand adds an element of entertainment, ensuring that this outdoor retreat caters to every lifestyle need.

To enhance the ambience, we incorporated a comprehensive new lighting installation, including landscape and architectural lighting, which highlights the space’s key features and extends its usability into the evening hours. Below the deck, we laid a Techo-Bloc Borealis paver patio, offering a durable and visually appealing surface that blends seamlessly with the natural surroundings.

Drainage was a critical component of the project. We addressed water runoff issues from neighboring properties with a strategically designed drainage system, including subsurface drainage chambers and piping to manage roof runoff effectively. Decorative stone was added not only as an aesthetic touch but also to aid in water management, preventing erosion and ensuring the landscape remains pristine.

The completed project exemplifies a harmonious blend of luxury and practicality, where each element contributes to a cohesive and welcoming environment. The new design has transformed a previously unusable and disconnected space into an oasis that flows effortlessly, offering year-round enjoyment and adding significant value to the property.
