Pool and Patios Installation
North Caldwell, NJ
Design & Installation by:
Sponzilli Landscape Group
Project Description:
The challenge here was that the client had a pool installed without a design, so we had to work with the existing stamped concrete pool decking. The layout was poor, so we cut a chunk of it off to make room for a new patio, seat wall, and fire pit.
We were able to match the existing patio with a Nico-lock paver called Stoneridge in Chesapeake Blend Color. A contrasting paver border was used to frame the patio.
The property allowed for a nice seat wall for overflow seating and retention of the slope. We added steps and a walkway to transition the grade from the driveway to the yard space. This made a nice connection to the deck as well. The fire pit is wood burning with a bluestone cap. Great for s’mores on a Saturday night.
Privacy plantings and new plants to screen under the deck were added. The irrigation system was renovated by Corner 2 Corner Irrigation. We added tiki torch lights and other lighting accents around the steps and along the seat wall. Lighting was provided by our sister company, Lighthouse Outdoor Lighting.
