Construction Driver/Laborer
Position Overview
The Driver is primarily responsible for the delivery and pickup of materials required for the construction of residential and commercial landscape projects.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Pickup of materials from vendors/nurseries
- Delivery of materials to yard and/or jobsites as needed
- Operation, loading and unloading of materials using excavators, skid steers, and small equipment
- Operating machinery as required
- Digging trenches and mulching; planting shrubs, trees & plants
- Reliable transportation to and from work; company vehicle(s) provided for use during working hours
Education/Experience
- Current & Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B required; Class A strongly preferred
- Clean drivers abstract
- Experience operating machinery (Skid Steers, Excavators, etc.) required
- Previous construction/landscaping preferred, but not necessary
Special Skills
- Highly motivated, self-driven individual
- Detail orientated with strong organizational, time and resource management skills
- Strong command of written and verbal English language required
- Excellent communication needed
