Sponzilli is proud to announce our induction into the AOLP (Association of Outdoor Lighting Professionals)
AOLP was established in 2001 as a trade association for contractors, manufacturers, designers and landscape architects. The mission of AOLP is to promote and advance the lighting industry for designers by upholding the belief that clients will be better served if their lighting is installed by a certified professional.
As Certified Low Voltage Lighting Technicians, Sponzilli is able to offer clients a nationally accredited standard for the installation of their outdoor lighting. The AOLP principles ensure the utmost level of safety at each jobsite by giving technicians tools and best practices to uphold.
Sponzilli Landscape Group gained inspiration and a greater knowledge of commercial, residential and feature-focused trends in lighting design across the country.
Becoming AOLP certified includes training, a written exam, and lab sessions where each aspiring technician works one-on-one with a certified professional to gain hands-on experience.
Attending the training was an extremely interesting part of becoming certified by AOLP. Working with other professionals and technicians to promote excellence in outdoor lighting design and installation proved to be informative and enjoyable.
