In sponsoring the Awards program, NJLCA strives to increase public awareness of environmental improvement through quality landscaping, and to encourage the landscape contractor’s consistent use of quality materials and workmanship.
The New Jersey Landscape Contractors Association (NJLCA) has awarded Sponzilli Landscape Group the following three awards for the year 2011:

| Design/Build: Residential Outdoor Living Area | Award of Excellence |
| Maintenance: Condo/Apartment/Community | Award of Excellence |
In addition to the current awards, Sponzilli won the Award of Excellence for Commercial Design/Build for both 2009 and 2010.
